Disneyland Dining Reservations – The Complete Guide

One of my favorite things about a Disney vacation is the food. I know, there are so many rides, shows, characters, and experiences to get excited about! But, hear me out – calories don’t count on a Disney vacation.

Plus there’s funnel cake AND churros. I’m sold. On a Disney vacation, you walk a lot, so you don’t need to worry about what you eat.

You should enjoy yourself! That’s why this week we’re discussing Disneyland dining reservations.

Disney offers 4 different types of dining experiences. There are snack carts throughout the parks where you grab and go. Then you have quick-service restaurants that offer seating but are self-serve.

Table service restaurants are the third type. In this setting, staff seats your party at a table and waits on them. Lastly, you have buffets, which fall somewhere between quick service and table service.

Why You Need Disneyland Dining Reservations

Disneyland is a very busy place and all those people have got to eat! The number of table service restaurants at Disneyland is fairly limited and extremely popular. Even with a reservation, you may have a moderate wait for a table.

Without a reservation, they will likely turn you away. Being able to reserve a table at Disneyland is great for planning your day ahead. And you definitely should.

When Do Disneyland Dining Reservations Open?

You can book Disneyland dining 60 days in advance of your trip online, by phone, or through your travel agent. Wondering what time do Disneyland dining reservations open? Promptly at 6:00am each day.

Reservations require a small deposit.

Disney will refund this deposit if canceled at least 24 hours ahead. Disney will charge a cancellation fee of $20 per person for no-shows and late cancelations. While you can sometimes make changes to your party size it is dependent on availability.
