Our Top 5 Quick Service Spots at Disneyland

There comes at time in every Disney trip when you have to take a break from the rides. Hunger. It happens to the best of us, and the last thing you want at Disneyland is to be hangry. With heat, crowds, and line frustrations – letting yourself get hungry is the worst thing you can do! You can indulge in a table service style meal, sure! But if you’re here for the rides and looking for a quick meal time fix these are the places you’ll want to go. Here’s my list of the 5 best quick service locations in Disneyland park.

Hungry Bear

Hidden in the far stretches of Critter Country is the Hungry Bear, which is perfect for lunch! You’ll be right next to Splash Mountain for a nice cooling refresh before or after your meal. We like this location because they offer some traditional fare that’s made really well. Options include lettuce wraps, a chili cheeseburger, and oh so good onion rings.

Mint Julep Bar

Beignets. Honestly, that’s all I have to say. These yummy creole treats are the perfect afternoon snack. The Mint Julep Bar offers them topped with powder sugar or, my favorite, watermelon sugar and chili pepper. I know it sounds strange, but trust me on this one. They also offer a (virgin) Mint Julep, which is fantastic!

Bengal Barbecue

Another great option for a light snack is Bengal Barbecue. Located across from the Jungle Cruise in Adventureland you can grab a skewer of your choice, pulled pork sandwich, or a creamy hummus plate. I love this location because it’s easy to grab a quick order and enjoy while in line for the next adventure. And those skewer are de-lish!

Jolly Holiday Bakery Cafe

This Mary Poppins themed restaurant is a favorite of mine for breakfast. You can get a large cinnamon role for a fair price, and enjoy it while looking out directly at the castle. They have some healthy and delicious sandwiches for lunch and dinner as well. The location is also ideal for catching the nighttime show at the castle, but be sure to arrive early as it fills up fast!

Red Rockett’s Pizza Port

Get the Count-Down Chicken Fusilli. This is our number 1 pick for good reason! It is the most amazing food I have EVER had at the Disneyland resort. Hands down. I am so insanely in love with this item that I created a recipe dupe to enjoy right at home. If for some crazy reason alfredo pasta isn’t your thing, they also offer marinara sauce, pizza, and salad. The pasta servings are large, and easily split between 2 adults making it budget friendly as well.
