The party begins April 26th and runs through August 4,th 2024. With the recent opening of the Pixar Place Hotel, the timing of this event just makes sense! There are so many new offerings to get excited about!

What’s New

Disneyland has gone all out on Entertainment for Pixar Fest with a new float cavalcade, stage show, fireworks show, and dance party!

Festival Marketplaces

In addition to new menu items available around the parks, there will also be SIX new Festival Marketplace booths at California Adventure!

The full menus are not yet available but we do know that each booth will inspired by a different Pixar film including, Luca, Ratatouille, Elemental, Turning Red, Soul, and Inside Out.

You’ll also have a chance to meet exciting new characters from recent films, including Ember and Wade from Elemental.

You Won’t Want To Miss Pixar Fest

Disneyland Resort has been increasing the number of after hours events for the last two years. Allowing guests to experience a new version of the parks, at an additional price.

Pixar Fest, and other festivals, help to breathe new life into parks without an additional ticket cost. And Pixar Fest has some of the most exciting new offerings of any festival (or after hours) that we’ve seen so far!

We’re especially excited about the new entertainment options, and Club Pixar coming to DCA’s Hollywood Land. There haven’t been too many details released just yet, but we’re hopeful the experience will be reminiscent of the Mad T Party.

Planning Your Visit

There is a ton to see and do at Pixar Fest this year! It’s always a good idea to make a plan for what you’d like to experience while you’re there. Be sure to check out our Complete Guide to Pixar Fest, for full details about everything!

Pixar Fest runs for for just over four months, overlapping with summer and many end of school year activities. California Adventure hosts Grad Parties for High School seniors on select nights in May and June.

You’ll see higher than average crowds on these days and California Adventure will close early.

Checking park hours on the dates you plan to visit, in advance of reservations, can help you to avoid these parties. A crowd calendar is also a great idea to try and avoid summertime peak.

What is Pixar Fest?

Disneyland, and California Adventure, have been home to quite a few celebrations. But none have been quite as beloved as Pixar Fest. This festival celebrates all the creativity and imagination form some of Disney and Pixar’s best films. There’s exclusive entertainment, rare character meets, and – of course, specialty snacks and beverages.

This year Pixar Fest will run from April 26th to August 29th. That’s four full month to enjoy everything this event has to offer (and it’s a lot).

Food of Pixar Fest

This year’s Pixar Fest will see six new marketplace booths at California Adventure, as well as limited menu additions throughout Disneyland Resort.

Festival Marketplace Booths

Scattered throughout California Adventure will be marketplace booths with specialty themed menus. These booths are a new addition to Pixar Fest, but are similar to what we’ve seen at both Food and Wine and Festival of the Holidays at DCA.

Full menus have not been released, but we do know a bit about what to expect:

• Protorosso Pasta inspired by Luca will feature dishes inspired by summer on the coast of Italy.
• Guseau’s To-Go will feature classics reimaged, with a little help from Ratatouille
• The Elemental Table will take inspiration from Elemental
• 4*Town Fav*4*ites will offer innovative dishes from Turning Red’s favorite boy band
• The Spark Soul food for feeling good
• Hanger Management will having you feeling all the feels, with Inside Out

The Characters

At Pixar Fest you’ll have a chance to meet lots of your favorite Pixar characters. In addition to the numerous characters regularly found on Pixar Pier, Ember and Wade from Elemental will be making their first park appearance!

Entertainment Options at Pixar Fest

The amount of new entertainment for Pixar Fest is amazing! There will be shows, fireworks, and dance parties available in both parks. Honestly, it sounds like a blast.

Together Forever Nighttime Fireworks

Returning to Disneyland Park is the fan favorite Together Forever A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular. We last saw this show during the 2021 Pixar Fest and have been yearning for it ever since. This Castle Projection show incorporates popular Pixar characters from the last 20 years and features fireworks on select nights. I for one cannot wait to see the new additions from Onward, Soul, Luca, Turning Red and Elemental

Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration Parade

One of the most surprising additions to Disney‘s Pixar Fest Announcement, is a brand new parade. It has been years since California Adventure has had a daytime parade!

Better Together runs twice daily featuring favorites from Pixar films new and old. Catch characters from The Incredibles, Coco, Toy Story, Soul, Luca, Turning Red, and more! We count at least five new parade floats.

Pixar Pals Playtime Party

Hosted at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland park, you can catch even more characters throughout the day at the Pixar Pals Playtime Party. The concept art shows multiple characters on stage leading a dance party. With lots of room to dance and play to the groove.

Exclusive Photo Ops and Interactive games will also be available in this area of the festival.

Club Pixar

I am so excited about this one, I could scream! Club Pixar will be opening in Hollywood Backlot at Disney‘s California Adventure and it looks spectacular!

After the sun sets there is no place we’d rather be than Club Pixar. Here you’ll find a DJ and live performances. Neon lights set the atmosphere to party the night away alongside characters.

Specialty beverages and cocktails, themed food, interactive games, and photo opportunities all await.

Pixar Fest Merchandise

Brand new Pixar merch will begin trickling into the Disneyland resort in early April, with more to come! An exclusive line of Pixar Fest Inspired Merch will be available in limited quantities during the festival dates, April 26th to August 29th, 2024.

Park Novelties

This Pizza Planet Popcorn bucket is cute and iconic, we should probably start lining up for it now. It’s going to be extremely popular.

*NEW* Pixar Inspired Items

Pixar Fest cannot come soon enough, and if you can’t wait Disney will have a huge merch drop this month at the parks. With apparel featuring characters, places, and phrases from popular films like Monster’s Inc, Toy Story and more – there’s something for everyone!

Exclusive Festival Merch

If you don’t get merch, were you even really at a Disney festival? A Pixar Fest Lug Bag and Spirit Jersey are just a few items from this limited edition series.

The spirit jersey features stylized images of Lightening McQueen, Miguel, Panda Mei, and the Toy Story Aliens. The text “ooooooo” appears in red above the little green guy. All displayed on a deep navy blue jersey.

A true blue Lug bag features the Luxo Ball, an icon of the Pixar company.
