It’s finally here! Disney World has been teasing the debut of two new shows at Hollywood Studios for nearly a year, and today’s the day! And one of them is going on Lightning Lane MultiPass.

We’ve been eagerly awaiting Villains: Unfairly Ever After since it was first announced all the way back in September of last year. The 10-minute show features takes place in the Sunset theater, past the entrance to Rock ‘n’ Rollercoaster.

Watch on as three classic characters attempt to explain their side of the story. The Evil Queen’s Magic Mirror kicks it off explaining that the villains have been struggling to escape. Cruella Deville, Captain Hook, and Maleficent then each take to the stage for a musical performance you won’t forget. And when it’s all over, you get the final say on who gets gets to stay.

But that’s not all – Disney is also breathing life into Animation Courtyard an area of the park that’s primarily used for character meets and has been neglected for far too long.

The Little Mermaid Musical Adventure is a completely revised and updated version of Voyage of the Little Mermaid which previously ran for over 30 years before shutting down with the parks in 2020. It’s a musical stage retelling of the movie featuring both live performers and a cast of impressive puppeteers.

With the addition of cutting age projection technology, Disney is able to create an immersive stage environment that makes you feel as though you’re under the sea. What’s even more exciting is this show is being added to Lightening Lane, giving guests more tier 2 options to choose from.

But, with so many attractions to choose from, not all Lightning Lane reservations pack the same punch!

Epcot Ride Eligibility

At Epcot, you’ll find a mix of attractions available through Lightning Lane!

• Frozen Ever After
• Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure
• Soarin’ Around the World

Best Times to Ride: Sadly, Living with the Land is an underappreciated GEM at Epcot. But it’s good news for us who value this icon because there’s almost never a line!

Figment

This charming, quirky ride is a cult favorite, but its popularity doesn’t span much further than that. I blame it on the skunk scene.

Figment often has little to no line, making a Lightning Lane reservation redundant. Instead, enjoy this nostalgic experience at your leisure!

Best Times to Ride: Like most attractions, mornings or early afternoons are great times to enjoy Figment without the crowds. The ride provides a refreshing escape from the heat of the park, making it a welcome addition to your day.

Pixar Shorts

Do not sleep on Pixar Shorts! It’s a theater-style experience that can accommodate many guests at once. With low demand for seating, you can simply walk in and enjoy the show without the need for a Lightning Lane reservation.

Best Times to Ride: The showings typically run throughout the day, so you can plan around your other attractions. If you want a break from walking, this is a perfect stop! If you’re a Pixar fan, it’s a must-do, but you won’t miss out on much by skipping it if time is tight.

Turtle Talk with Crush

This is an interactive show featuring Crush, from Finding Nemo. It’s hilarious especially for younger guests, but the wait times are typically minimal. Whether it’s a busy day or not, you can enjoy Turtle Talk without needing to purchase Lightning Lane access.

Best Times to Visit: This attraction usually has a consistent flow of guests, so you can pop in during any time of day.

The Seas with Nemo and Friends

The Seas with Nemo and Friends is usually a walk-on attraction. You’ll often find that this ride has little wait, so it’s best to save your Lightning Lane funds for attractions that genuinely need it.

Best Times to Ride: Ride in the early afternoon when the park is busiest. Since it’s a slow-moving attraction, it’s a great option to sneak in during busier times when other rides have longer waits. It’s also a great way to cool off and enjoy the marine life aquarium, while soaking up the air conditioning.

Is Lightning Lane Worth It at Epcot?

When it comes to Epcot, the decision to purchase Lightning Lane can be a bit of a mixed bag. Certain rides—namely Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure—will always have long lines, making Lightning Lane worthwhile.

But, for many of the park’s other attractions, you may find that standby lines are manageable, even during busy days.

Final Thoughts: Lightning Lane is for the Big Rides

The biggest value of Lightning Lane at Epcot is for the big-ticket attractions—Frozen Ever After and Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure.

Once Test Track reopens it might also be a worth a Lightning Lane, though it’s bound to be Tier 1. But for everything else, standby lines are generally manageable. Allowing you to enjoy your time in Epcot without feeling pressured to rush through the park.

Both parties are separately ticketed, limited capacity events. Guests are able to enter the prospective parks hours before the celebrations begin, but there’s quite a few differences between them.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party

Disney Worlds banner flag holiday party, filled with your favorite characters, traditions and more. Parties begin on November 8th and run until just before Christmas, December 20th. With twenty-five parties in total this season.

Festivities begin at 7:00 pm and run through Midnight, but you’re able to enter up to three hours early!

Party tickets range from $179 – $209 for an adult ticket, and $169 – $199 for children. There’s also a $10 discount for Annual Passholders and Disney Vacation Club Members for most dates through December 5th.

Jollywood Nights

The newest holiday event at Disney World, Jollywood Nights is a mix of glitz, glam, and showbiz! Parties begin take place select nights between November 9th and December 21st. There are thirteen party nights in total.

Things kick off at 7:30 pm and run through 12:30 am for some late night fun! Similarly to Mickey’s Very Merry, guests can enter the park early but just two and a half hours before.

Unlike Magic Kingdom’s party though, Jollywood Nights does not offer a reduced price child’s ticket. Adult tickets start at $159 and run up to $179 closer to the holiday. DVC members and Annual Passholders can save up to $10 per ticket on any night for the party.

Entertainment is Jollywood’s defining feature. With a modern and jazzy vibe, the event includes:

• Nightmare Before Christmas Sing-a-Long A fan-favorite, with seasonal songs and moments straight from Halloween Town.
• Holidays in Hollywood Stage Show This popular show brings glitzy performances with seasonal favorites, fitting perfectly with the Hollywood glamour theme. Who doesn’t love a Muppet’s holiday show?!

In addition to the main shows, Jollywood is full of dance parties! With live DJs at the entrance, a “Midnight Soiree” in the Tower of Terror courtyard, and a salsa band on Commissary Lane.

Each neighborhood brings something unique, and the energy here feels like a high-end holiday party. These mini parties during the inaugural run were a little rough. The Midnight Soiree in particular was packed, and crowds were worsened by enormous lines for the nearby cocktail cart.

Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party has become a holiday tradition at Magic Kingdom, filling the park with traditional cheer and Christmas wonder.

Set against Magic Kingdom’s festive backdrop, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is perfect for families and guests of all ages, offering a blend of parades, shows, fireworks, and exclusive Disney character experiences.

Mickey’s Very Merry entertainment celebrates the sense of traditional Disney holiday celebration:

But if Jollywood Nights can pull it together this year, the scales might tip in that direction. The stage shows are so, so good. The neighborhood block parties have…potential. And the brand new ice skating show? That could be a game changer.

Attraction Overlays

It’s an automatic point to Mickey’s very Merry, because Jollywood doesn’t have any overlays. But, let’s talk about what you can expect from the Magic Kingdom.

1. Jingle Cruise – Jungle Cruise transforms into Jingle Cruise with festive decorations, holiday-themed puns, and a whole new personality. It’s a hilarious addition that even non-party guests can enjoy during regular hours.
2. Space Mountain – Space Mountain amps up the holiday vibe with flashing lights, vibrant colors, and a rockin’ Christmas soundtrack. It’s a different take on the classic that brings holiday cheer to Tomorrowland.
3. Tomorrowland Speedway – The Speedway turns into a drive-through holiday light show, with seasonal decor and holiday music to keep you in the spirit.
4. Mad Tea Party – Holiday lights and music turn this spinning teacup ride into a colorful holiday wonderland. It’s a quick transformation, but one that makes a big impact on the party atmosphere.

Character Meet-and-Greets

Character meet-and-greets are central to Disney holiday parties, and both events bring exclusive holiday appearances.

Very Merry Character Highlights

At Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, guests will find holiday favorites like Santa Claus, Mickey and Minnie in festive attire, and rarities like Jack Skellington and Sally and the Winnie the Pooh crew in winter wear. Lines can be long, but with a bit of strategy it doesn’t need to take up your whole night.

Jollywood Nights Character Rarities

Jollywood Nights offers rare characters that are harder to find at other events, including Phineas and Ferb, Max Goof as Powerline, and Jiminy Cricket. However, long lines plagued last year’s event. Wome guests spent hours for a single meet-and-greet.

The limited time meant many guests missed other entertainment, and the character lines were one of the biggest criticisms from last year’s party.

Winner: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party for me, but it might be different for you. If characters are a big draw for you, Jollywood Nights might actually be better. There are more rare finds that might be worth the wait. For us, characters are auxiliary entertainment so quick lines – like those for the fab 5, take the cake.

Food, Snacks, and Beverages

It’s not a party without something to nibble on, right? Both events have tons of delicious options, but we do have to name a winner in this debate.

Jollywood Nights Eats and Treats

This event is heavily marketed as a foodie (and cocktail) paradise, with an emphasis on elevated flavors. A fan favorite is the Gertie cookie and Mint Ice Cream.

Our personal recommendation is the Sugar Cookie Martini

Those enormous lines we’re a big issue for us though, and we didn’t get to try many things. Here’s hoping things are a bit better this year.

The eats at Mickey’s Very Merry are more of a balanced selection, with sweets and savory options available throughout the park.

We’re drooling over the Fried Ice Cream Christmas Tree.

Not to mention the FREE COOKIES AND HOT CHOCOLATE. You read that right. Guests can visit any of the eight treat trail locations around Magic Kingdom to pick-up cookies and bevey’s. Sugar Cookies, Red Velvet Cookies, Chocolate Chip Cookies – oh my!

Winner: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party you did read that part about free cookies, right?

The Ultimate Decision

After comparing these holiday events, here’s the final verdict:

• Mickey’s Very Merry is ideal for families and anyone looking for a truly Disney Christmas. With plenty of ride overlays, classic character meets, and family-friendly entertainment, MVMCP is the more well-rounded event.
• Jollywood Nights offers a glitzy, high-energy holiday experience for adults and those looking for a unique twist. However, with last year’s line issues, we can’t possibly recommend this event. Hopefully our opinion is completely flipped this year, because it looks so good on paper!

Overall Winner: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party – With a fully immersive holiday experience, MVMCP offers more value and a better balance of activities for most guests. Jollywood Nights may still be worth it if you’re after a lively night with some rare character encounters.

Circle your calendar, set your alarm, and start those finger stretching exercises because on Wednesday, November 6th, the virtual gates open no earlier than 9 a.m. Pacific Time.

But don’t dawdle—hop into the online waiting room at 8:45 a.m. to secure your spot in the queue. 

Once you’ve entered the queue you can opt to have Disney e-mail you when it’s your turn, instead of staring at your screen for hours. Just be sure to check your notification settings, so that you actually see the email come through.

As with any good news coming out of Disney recently, there’s a price increase we need to discuss.

• Inspire Pass: $1,749, up 6%.
• Believe Pass: $1,374, a 10% increase.
• Enchant Pass: $974, climbing 14.7%.
• Imagine Pass: $599, a 20% rise.

While it’s not surprising to see these increases – you might be suffering from sticker shock just like me. Which begs the question – Is a Magic Key Still Worth It?

One thing we know for sure – these Magic Key’s won’t be available for long.

So, suit up, strap in, and may the fastest fingers win! Here’s to a year of magic, if you play your cards—or your keyboard—right! Remember, with Disneyland, there’s always a little more magic, whimsy, and occasionally, a price hike.

It’s finally here—Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival for 2024! This year, the festival runs from August 29th to November 23rd, and there are more than 32 booths featuring snacks and drinks from around the world. We spent two amazing days eating, drinking, and shopping, so let’s dive into what’s new and what you absolutely have to try! Grab your festival passport and let’s go.

Festival Merch You Can’t Miss

The first thing we did was check out the festival merchandise. The designs this year are too cute, especially if you love Figment (and who doesn’t?!).

There’s a simple festival hat for $29.99 that’s perfect for a sunny day at Epcot.

If you want to stay cozy, there’s also a long-sleeved t-shirt featuring World Showcase icons, snacks, and Figment. It’s $44.99, and even though it’s a little warm for Florida weather, it’s so cute I might have to grab one!

Other standouts include the Corkcicle water bottle priced at $44.99.

And if you’re looking for something fun to add to your kitchen, the Spaceship Earth wine cork is only $19.99 and is absolutely adorable.

I love the peach and purple theme this year—it feels fresh, fun, and perfect for the festival vibe.

Now, on to the food!

Macatizer: Brand New Mac & Cheese Booth

First up, we checked out the new Macatizer booth, and it did not disappoint. This booth has four types of mac and cheese, including a plant-based option! Here’s what we tried:

• Chili Mac (plant-based): This mac and cheese was topped with Impossible chili, beans, green onions, cheese sauce, and a dollop of sour cream. It was super rich and cheesy, but the chili threw me off a bit. The beans weren’t what I expected for a chili mac—it was more like a soup-style chili. Still, for a plant-based dish, it’s a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

• Cheesesteak Mac: This was the star of the booth for us! The shaved beef was thin and tender, and the creamy cheese sauce balanced it perfectly. The parmesan crumbs on top added a nice crunch, and the peppers and onions were slightly spicy but sweet. A solid 4 out of 5 for sure!

We wanted to try the Kentucky Pumpkin Bourbon Barrel Ale, but the taps were down when we visited. I guess I’ll just have to come back and try it later (spooky season vibes!).

Fry Flight: Crispy and Delicious

Next, we grabbed the Fry Flight from the Fry Basket. This has been a festival favorite for a while, and it’s easy to see why. Here’s what was on the flight this year:

• Truffle Parmesan Fries: Crispy, garlicky, and perfectly seasoned with parmesan—these were the clear winners of the flight. 5 out of 5 stars!
• Barbecue Bacon Fries: These fries were a little dry, even with the aioli on top. I was expecting more sauce, so they didn’t quite live up to the hype. They did have a slight spicy kick, though, which was nice. I’m giving these a 3 out of 5 stars.
• Sweet Potato Casserole Fries: These were basically dessert! They were topped with candied pecans, cinnamon, sugar, and marshmallow cream, but it melted pretty quickly in the heat. If you like sweet fries, these are for you. 3 out of 5 stars for these, just a little too sweet for my taste.

I loved being able to try all three flavors in one go, but if I had to pick just one, the truffle fries are the way to go.

Flavors From Fire: Impossible Sliders That Deliver

We also made a stop at Flavors From Fire to try the Impossible Montreal-Style Burger Slider. Last year’s slider was a bit dry, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but this one was delicious! The tomato jam was sweet, and the creamy aioli added just enough moisture to balance the dish. This is the kind of plant-based dish I can get behind—5 out of 5 stars!

If you’re a fan of trying plant-based options that don’t sacrifice flavor, this is a must-try!

Milled and Mulled: Sweet Treats Galore

Time for dessert! We swung by Milled and Mulled and tried two desserts that we were excited about:

• Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese Icing: This was amazing! The texture reminded me more of banana bread than carrot cake, but the spice was perfect, and the cream cheese icing wasn’t too sweet, cutting through the richness of the cake. 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

• Fig and Balsalmic Cheesecake: I wanted to love this, but it was a bit too soft and plain. It was hot outside, and the cheesecake just wasn’t holding up. The fig jam was flavorful, but the cheesecake itself didn’t have enough depth. I’m giving it a 2 out of 5, but it might be better if you take it home and let it chill.

• Chocolate Shop Chocolate Red Wine: If you’re in the mood for something truly different, the Chocolate Shop Chocolate Red Wine is worth a try. It tastes like a chocolate-covered cherry with a strong, slightly sour flavor. It’s definitely a unique experience! While it’s not something I’d drink in large quantities, it’s fun to try for a dessert-style wine. I’m giving it a 3 out of 5 stars—it’s good, but the small portion is more than enough for me.

Autumn Delights at Forest and Field

At Forest and Field, we tried the Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli and the Autumn Chili. Both of these were perfect for fall:

• Pumpkin Mascarpone Ravioli: This dish had creamy pumpkin filling with a sweet praline topping. The ravioli were small, but the flavors were rich and delicious. The pralines were a little too sweet for me, but if you’re a fan of sweet-savory combos, this will hit the spot. 5 out of 5 stars!

• Autumn Chili: This hearty dish was packed with bison, lamb, and pork belly, and served with cornbread. It was a little greasy, but the cornbread added just enough sweetness to balance it out. It’s perfect for those cooler days (if we ever get them in Florida). 4 out of 5 stars!

Bramblewood Bites: A Taste of Artisanal Dishes

One of the newer booths is Bramblewood Bites, located near the Imagination Pavilion. We weren’t too sure about eating such hearty dishes in the August heat, but the flavors were so worth it!

• Cider Brined Pork Tenderloin: This pork was juicy, tender, and paired perfectly with the fennel apple slaw and apple cider drizzle. 4 out of 5 stars for sure!

• Cast Iron Roasted Brussels Sprouts: These were fabulous! The Brussels sprouts were charred and crispy, the root vegetables added a nice earthy note, and the candied pecans brought in a touch of sweetness. This is a dish I’d love to recreate at home for Thanksgiving. 4 out of 5 stars!

• Spiced Apple Old Fashioned: This quickly became one of my festival favorites. It’s sweet and smooth, with just the right hint of apple cider to give it a fall flavor twist. The bourbon adds warmth, but the overall taste is more like sweet tea, which makes it perfect for sipping even in the Florida heat. This is a 5 out of 5 stars for sure! If you’re looking for a cocktail that captures the essence of autumn in a glass, don’t miss this one.

Swirled Showcase: Frozen Treats to Beat the Heat

Over at the Swirled Showcase booth, we indulged in the Liquid Nitrogen Frozen Sweet Potato with candied pecans and maple caramel sauce. Watching the dish being made was half the fun! The sweet potatoes were frozen with nitrogen, making them creamy and cold—just what you need on a hot Florida day. The flavor was rich and spiced with cinnamon and allspice, and the crunch from the pecans made it extra special. This is how you do autumn in Orlando! 5 out of 5 stars for this frosty fall treat.

Mexico: Bold Flavors and Spicy Sips

The Mexico booth brings some classic Mexican flavors with a festival twist. This year, we opted for a delicious flauta and a margarita with a spicy kick!

• Poblano Margarita: Made with tequila, corn whiskey, poblano liquor, and lime juice, this margarita had a nice earthy pepper flavor without being too spicy. The poblano liquor added a unique twist, making it one of my favorite drinks of the day. 5 out of 5 stars for this refreshing cocktail!

• Flauta de Barbacoa: This fried tortilla was soft and airy, stuffed with flavorful barbacoa beef. Topped with salsa verde, crema Mexicana, and queso fresco, it was a perfect balance of heat and freshness. The barbacoa was tender and juicy, giving this dish a solid 4 out of 5 stars.

Wrapping Up the Festival Fun

After two days of eating, drinking, and exploring, I can confidently say this year’s Epcot Food and Wine Festival is packed with some truly amazing dishes. From the comforting flavors of fall to unique twists on classic favorites, there’s something for everyone.

Namely – super long lines. There simply weren’t enough activities to absorb the crowds and most guests were all after the same experiences.

From hour long waits to purchase cocktails at the Tip Top Club in the Tower of Terror Courtyard. To queues wrapping around Echo Lake to meet nostalgic characters from the 90’s.

Honestly, the whole thing was a bit of a hot mess. But one of the most notorious let downs was the Jazzy Holidays at the Brown Derby. Entry into this even more exclusive holiday party was available only through reservation, and the reservations couldn’t be made until after entering the park after 7:00pm.

Now if you’re familiar with the plight of Virtual Queue, let me explain that this was so much worse. I don’t think Disney realized how popular the experience would be and the servers could not handle the web traffic. The app would hardly work and kept crashing. If you were lucky enough to even get the to right screen, you’d be added to a wait list because all reservations filled up almost instantly.

This year, however, Disney has announced a major change. Jazzy Holidays at the Brown Derby will offer advanced dining reservations.

Beginning on September 17th, guests who have purchased a ticket to Jollywood Nights will be able to (try) and secure their place at Disney World’s most exclusive holiday party. This may not address the issue of capacity, but at least you’ll know before you arrive to the parks if it’s going to happen. And you won’t be wasting precious party time trying to refresh an app that keeps crashing.

Starting November 15 both Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure will sparkle with celebrations. Festivities will run through Christmas and New Years, ending January 6, 2025.

Dazzling Decor and Entertainment

Disneyland Resort goes all out with holiday decorations. From glittering ornaments to twinkling lights, and one larger than life Christmas tree. Sleeping Beauty’s castle has never been more magical than when it’s decked out in draping lights.

The Grand Californian Hotel will once again house the iconic, and gigantic, gingerbread house. Pixar Place Hotel is also introducing brand-new holiday decor that will leave you ooh-ing and ahh-ing.

Parades & Nighttime Spectaculars

“Believe…In Holiday Magic” the nighttime spectacular, will light up the sky at Disneyland Park every night. And yes, there will be “snowfall” along Main Street and other iconic spots like the Rivers of America and “it’s a small world” Holiday.

Over at Disney California Adventure, “World of Color – Season of Light” returns for the season. This nighttime spectacular adds a festive twist to the fan favorite, World of Color. The show is almost always packed! Make sure to reserve your Virtual Queue and return back to the viewing area at least 20 minutes early.

Yuletide Characters and Joyful Activities

Santa Claus will be visiting Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, once again! But, you can also submit your Christmas wishes at the Grand Californian, Disneyland Hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel.

The Fab Five will debut brand new holiday costumes with a retro Victorian vibe. Minnie and Daisy look like holiday elves, while Goofy might have just walked off of the Matterhorn!

You won’t want to miss Chip & Dale’s Ornament Trail at Downtown Disney District beginning November 22. This seasonal scavenger hunt asks guests to locate the mischievous chipmunks ornament’s throughout the Downtown district with a special reward (whether you complete the game or not).

Holiday Overlays on Classic Attractions

“Haunted Mansion Holiday” opened in August and Jack will be staying around until the new year! “it’s a small world” Holiday will be back and all of Cars Land will receive it’s seasonal overlay. Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree are must do’s when visiting California Adventure this winter.

Festival of the Holidays: Diversity in Unity

Disney loves a good festival, and there’s plenty to celebrate at the annual Festival of the Holidays. Enjoy festive treats from around the world at Global Marketplace booths around California Adventure. This is my personal favorite Festival at DCA, the cocktails cannot be beat!

Exclusive Character Meals and Experiences

Mickey will be hosting a Holiday Pajama Party brunch at the Grand Californian. And Goofy’s Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel gets decked out for the season starting November 19. Reservations will open soon, so keep those browsers refreshed!

Guided Tours and Christmas Shopping Galore

The Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour shares stories of Walt Disney’s holiday traditions. It’s complete with treats and VIP seating for “A Christmas Fantasy Parade.”

And let’s not forget the shopping! You’ll find exclusive holiday merchandise that makes for perfect Christmas gifts—or perhaps a little something for yourself.

It might not be as exciting as piloting. But it’s still a great way to enjoy the attraction without the long wait. This experience puts you right in the middle of the Star Wars universe. Making it a must-visit for fans of the franchise.

Test Track

For those who love a high-tech adventure, Test Track at EPCOT is another excellent option. You’ll get to design your own virtual vehicle and put it to the test. The Single Rider line often moves quickly, making it ideal for multiple rides. But you won’t get full control over your vehicle design. The thrill of speeding around the outdoor track is an experience that’s hard to beat.

While Test Track is currently being re-imagined, we fully expect this Disney World Single Rider line to be resurrected.

Expedition Everest

Over in Animal Kingdom, Expedition Everest promises a thrilling journey through the Himalayas, complete with a Yeti encounter. The Single Rider line at this attraction is particularly reliable. It significantly cuts down your wait time and allows for repeat rides if you’re up for the challenge. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance (maybe)

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance recently joined the ranks by testing a dedicated Single Rider line. Unfortunately, the queue disappeared almost as quickly as it came. Hopefully we’ll see this come back in the future. But keep in mind guests did end up skipping some of the pre-shows. It could still be a valuable option for those who have already experienced the full attraction and are eager to ride again. This groundbreaking ride combines multiple ride systems and stunning special effects, creating an unforgettable adventure in the Star Wars galaxy.

Pros and Cons of Using Single Rider Lines
