2023 Epcot Food and Wine Festival – Everything You Need to Know

The Epcot Food and Wine Festival is one of my absolute favorite events at Disney World. Although, admittedly yes – I love all of the special events and seasonal offerings. But, there’s something about journeying through a global culinary adventure at Disney that just feels, well, magical. Right?

What is the Epcot Food and Wine Festival?

Each year Epcot hosts the Food and Wine Festival from July to November. This ongoing event takes place every day, during the festival period, and is included in the price of your Epcot ticket. You’ll find numerous seasonal booths set up around the World Showcase area of the park, offering unique snacks and drinks available for a limited time.

The 2023 Epcot Food and Wine Festival will be held from July 27 through November 18.

How many food and beverage options are available at the festival?

The short answer is; a LOT! There are twenty-four festival locations, each offering 3-5 bites and 2-4 beverage options. Plus six year-round locations offering limited options for the duration of the festival. That’s over 100 new dishes, and nearly 75 unique drinks for you to discover!

Can I use Disney Dining Plan credits at the festival?

Disney dining plans are not currently available but will be back in 2024! Unfortunately, we don’t yet know if dining plan credits will be accepted at festival booths. However, you have been able to do so in the past so we are hopeful that doesn’t change.

Are there any special events and entertainment available at the festival?

There’s so much to see and do at the Epcot Food and Wine Festival! From concert series to interactive games and cooking demonstrations (in previous years)!

Eat to the Beat Concert Series

Our favorite entertainment at Epcot Food and Wine is the Eat to the Beat concert series. Each year Disney brings together some of your favorite bands from the 80’s, 90’s, and even early 2000’s to perform on stage in front of the America Pavilion.

Shows happen 3 times per evening and are included in your park ticket. If you’d like to secure your spot ahead of time, dining packages are available with preferred seating reservations.

Highlights for 2023 include; Boyz II Men, Sugar Ray, Hoobastank, and Joey Fatone & Friends (which is basically Nsync minus Justin). Check out the full 2023 Eat to the Beat Lineup.

Emile’s Fromage Montage

If you’re a fan of cheese, this one is certainly for you. Collect 5 stamps, from participating booths, with the purchase of any five of the dishes listed below. Not only will you have a cheesy good time, but there’s also a special treat at the end.

After collecting all of your stamps, head to Sips Marketplace to redeem them for an exclusive (and free) dish!

Epcot Food and Wine Festival Merchandise

It wouldn’t be a trip to Disney without a bit of festival swag. Details are limited so far, but we’ll continue to update this post as new products become available.

Event Logo Collection

A small backpack by Loungefly. The body of the backpack is white with small designs of different dishes of food. The straps and zipper are light blue. In the front is a blue zippered pouch that is designed to look like the exterior of Spaceship Earth.

Generally, Disney will release Minnie ears, button up’s, insulated wine glasses, and a bag or backpack with the year’s festival logo. So far all we’ve seen is a (super cute) backpack. The pattern for 2023 includes depictions of various food including; carrots, mushrooms, cheesecake, and burgers. Products and patterns will predominately feature a royal blue and white background, with an emphasis on the geodesic pattern of Spaceship Earth.

Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse Picnic Collection

Navy and light blue tote bag by Dooney and Burke. A design of Mickey and Minnie Mouse dressed as chef's standing in front of Spaceship Earth is displayed on the front of the bag.

A new Dooney and Burke print will be available, featuring both Mickey and Minnie Mouse wearing chef’s coats and hats in Epcot. Dooney and Burke tend to release full lines of bags including a tote, wallet, weekender, and small purse.

In addition to these items, Disney has said to expect kitchen accessories as well.

Encanto Collection

Colorful dollhouse reminiscent of the Madrigal Family's house in Encanto

Not much is yet known about the Encanto collection or the type of merchandise we can expect. So far, the only item released appears to be a small playhouse. Disney has not provided details of the item, only a photo of what will be available.

Figment Annual Passholder Collection

White Baseball Tee with Golden Yellow Sleeves and purple collar. An image of Figment, the dragon of imagination, juggling different dishes is displayed on the chest.

This year’s Annual Passholder collection will feature Figment! Products and patterns will be in shades of yellow and purple.
